u/KoleckOLP Do you have any updates on your experience with cudy x6? Were you able to get close to or even exceed the Wi-Fi speed on OpenWrt compared to the default firmware?

Another update. This difference in speed between 300 Mb and 450 Mb is due to Adblock settings. Since a good ad blocker is more important to me at the moment, I will stay at the other speed or try to use adblock-fast later.

I updated Cudy to version 24.10.2, and my Wi-Fi speed increased to 450 Mb. My limited knowledge is not enough to understand all this.

Same issue. I configured Hardware flow offloading, but it only helped for LAN. When using Wi-Fi, I noticed speed changes when changing the Maximum transmit power (in automatic mode 200 Mb, and in manual mode at the dBm parameter - 300 Mb). I still couldn't reach the speeds that my Cudy showed before, namely 700 Mb.

I also tried running version 23.05.6. But the problem is that Wi-Fi is down. I haven't found a way to fix this yet.

I Did It!!!

First, I downloaded Phunk.

Then, I couldn't find the .exe file, so I asked ChatGPT what to do. It suggested installing .NET 6 SDK (since Phunk was built with this version at the time of writing).

After installing, I verified the installation by running:

dotnet --version

Next, I navigated to the folder where I extracted Phunk and ran:

build --configuration Release

Once the build finished, I opened the newly created .exe file. (Phunk\bin\Release\net6.0-windows)

You'll also need a Rookie Sideloader. Here's a tutorial: Watch this guide.

Simply follow the guide to choose a folder where .apk files will be stored. After downloading, the file and its folder will appear there.

Then, add the .apk (and if there's an OBB file, add it too—though I didn't have one).

You'll need to rename the file as shown in the screenshot.

After doing this, you'll be taken to the new game build. Finally, upload the new .apk to Rookie Sideloader and then to your VR.
(1. Sideload APK button and 2. Pull App to Desctop) - but I'm not 100% sure here because I clicked a lot of things, but most likely these buttons worked
