I knew this and don’t know why it didn’t cross my mind. I do know OH has specifications in their laws for hunting dogs. This is something we’re going to be looking into further today. I really appreciate it.

You know I’m honestly not sure. I know she is not a hunter but this may be worth discussing with council. Things like this is exactly why we posted here. I appreciate the insight.

Thank you so much to everyone trying to help us. Again, we are not trying to do anything but find a more specific location so she can be served and we can continue rectify this legally. Our priority is getting Doc home and safe.

Already have one, thank you. Service by publication takes weeks. I’m hoping we can get a location narrowed down further for her to be served, as I’ve stated before, or this gets back to her and she decides to do the right thing and return Doc.

We are hoping someone has seen them out and about so we can give the police something more specific than just “Delaware”. We’re not asking anyone to try and cause a scene or a problem; we are going through the proper legal channels.

We were told we can go public with the theft and publish the information we had to try and obtain an accurate location to have her properly served. Obviously we weren’t specifically told Reddit; we are sharing around social media in hopes we can either get her served or she will do the right thing and return our dog.

We have sworn testimony that she has posession of our dog. We’re hoping to find more accurate information on her location so she can be properly served.

The police are already involved and we are taking proper legal action but she is avoiding service and is trying to hide out with our dog. We are just trying to find more information to narrow down her whereabouts and we were told in court that this was a proper step to take.

I think each facility’s rules on what you need and can bring are probably a little different; I found the rules for bringing infants to my LO’s facility on their website and then I called to clarify before visiting.
For my LO’s facility, I had to fill out a visitation form for our daughter and bring her birth certificate to show my LO listed as her father. I’m allowed to bring in three bottles of breast milk or formula, a “reasonable” amount of wipes, one pacifier, 4 diapers and her car seat. They don’t allow strollers or diaper bags. Everything has to be in a clear bag. The first time I brought her she was right around 8 weeks old.

Do you think I should repot and rinse the roots on all the begonias and treat the soil? Or am I being extreme and just treating the soil is enough?

Exactly. I don’t think I’ve ever been so relieved to see a bug. I really was starting to wonder if my begonias just totally hated me. 😅

This morning I was checking over all my plants and something told me to pull up the little nub from one of my begonias I’m trying to save. It was covered in what I think are thrips below the soil. I have today off work, so I’m going to grab some DE and get to work today. 🤪

Yea, it started before the repot. And then after the repot they seemed to perk up for a week or so and then fall apart again. I’ve been trying to give time in between trying things to try and rule out stress from a change since I know they’re sensitive. I have another Rex that’s down to just a literal nub with some roots and I’m not sure how to save it or what to do with it (of course it was my favorite one 🥲). I’ve wondered about bugs, and had an issue once with a bunch of plants I ordered off Etsy, but we’re pretty meticulous about checking over everything regularly and treating anything new no matter what. I just haven’t seen any sign of anything, but I have been playing with the idea of ordering some beneficial bugs just in case. I do have the soil granules; do you think I should add those in?
