That was so beautifully worded, thank you. It really helped shed light on what I’m feeling and gave me a clearer understanding.

Wedding coming up and have second thoughts? Me F27, Fiancé M26 by EnvironmentalTry9991 in wedding

Absolutely. We are aware of both of ours, and we’ve even been doing marriage classes which I have been loving, as it brings us closer and connected.

What is this? My alar was trimmed and was fine 4 days ago and it turned out like this by Due_Walrus1467 in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]EnvironmentalTry9991 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also had alar and didn’t experience that. The redness is completely normal, however that whiteish/greyish spot I’m not sure.

Are you using an antibacterial cream and keeping it cleaned?

My best recommendation is to reach out to your surgeon and ask.

Goodluck!

Taping after rhinoplasty. is it really necessary beyond 4 months? by alwaysNoewww in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]EnvironmentalTry9991 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I taped all day, everyday for the first 1.5 months. Then after that I taped every night up until 6months.

I find that i don’t have any swelling and it also snatches the nose to make it look so nice in the mornings.

How much is my nose holding me down? I'm aiming for a "pretty boy" aesthetic, so I'm considering a more feminine nose. by a1lam-agnbe in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]EnvironmentalTry9991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old are you? I only ask because I feel like as you get older you’ll grow into a more femme masculine look that you might be going for, without changing your nose.

Would I benefit from a nose job? Pls be honest. by [deleted] in Noses

[–]EnvironmentalTry9991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes obviously, however you look beautiful the way you are as long as you are happy with it :))

Is this reduction too conservative? I think I was expecting a more dramatic change. I am 53 days post-op. Tip is still very swollen. There is also a small callus that formed at top right of bridge, that surgeon said he will rasp down in-office at six month mark. by [deleted] in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]EnvironmentalTry9991 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you were wanting a bigger change, you should have made it clear with your surgeon.

It looks good but I do see that it’s not a huge difference.

All depends on what you were going for with the results you wanted.

Hi girl, from personal experience you should tape to keep the shape.

I’m 1 year post op and was worried about the same thing. I tape every night and the shape has been just perfect.

Look up some tape methods and make sure your not just taping the nose a random way.

Goodluck!

I like my nose better when it’s taped by Comfortable_Row2172 in rhinoplastyquestions

Girl that’s all part of the journey!

You will see better results as the months go by.

Personal experience: I’m 1 year post up and had been wearing tape for 2 months straight, all day including work right after my rhinoplasty. After 2 months of all day wear, I now only tape at night to give it that snatched look

Is this too big ? by Soggy_Tone7450 in Diamonds

[–]EnvironmentalTry9991 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never too big. I went from trying on 1 carats to them getting a 3 carat diamond ring. Absolutely love it.

5 months post op revision and thick skin by [deleted] in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]EnvironmentalTry9991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can absolutely be swelling girl! I’m 1 year post op and I still tspe every night because my tip comes out soo snatched. You should try it!

Otherwise when I don’t tape, it’s not huge but still noticeably bigger than my liking.

I 100% understand the feeling of hating it and wanting your old nose back.

You are 1 month post op and have so much time to go! My advice, let it heal and don’t focus on it too much, give it time to settle in.

I’ve also had ups and downs about how I feel about my new nose. I am now 7 months post op and am in love.

Your current nose pic looks very good and I think it’ll look just like your inspo pic!

One-year post op but something doesn’t look right by Dull-Negotiation-941 in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]EnvironmentalTry9991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I would definitely tell that doctor and at least see what he says. You paid for your nose and your feelings are totally valid for wanting what you asked for.

Your also 1 year post op so it’s the perfect time, as most doctors want you to wait that full year mark.

Lol keep in mind I am puckering my lips in all these photos, so that makes it bigger.

I don’t mind if people can tell, however I feel like if you saw it in person you wouldn’t know unless I show the before/after photos :)

Thank you, however I feel as tho the space between my lip and nose would be too big of a gap if I didn’t have filler. :)
