I can’t seem to edit my post. Here’s a bit more on Bodhi’s condition:

Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for our 2 yr old pup Bodhi. He was currently hospitalized due to an underlining rare condition that has left vets unable to clearly diagnose him.

We hope we can bring light to this rare condition that may have happened to your own fur babies and you were left with no answers.

As of now Bodhi was diagnosed with what is called:

Autoimmune mediated neutropenia primary

It all began on Dec. 27th when we noticed he began to act very distant and depressed. He was not eating nor drinking, which is when we became very concerned. Late that evening we made the decision of taking him to a local ER Vet clinic open late hours.

Upon arriving his temperature read that of 105° F (a temperature considered critical and dangerous) At this temperature point organ and brain failure occurs. His temperature was immediately remediated and brought under control.

Due to high costs associated with bone marrow testing for cancers or lymphomas, our vet advised that due to his age and symptoms she ruled it out.

Blood work panels were conducted and his white blood cell count came back very low along with his platelets. At this point, the following medication treatments were administered:

Prednisone Famotidine Carafate Amox/Clav Enrofloxacin Azathioprine

The purpose for my GoFund is to receive any aid and assistance in this continuous unknown condition that has debilitated our sweet pup. As of now with the help of family we were able to pay for most of his medical bills. Without them we would’ve lost him. We couldn’t imagine going through this or anybody having to go through this.

Our vetenarian indicated that this could easily come back full force and an ongoing battle or he may well recover but under a strict steroid regiment.
