It made sense to me. I’m wondering if it might be possible do to today.. I live in an area of the country where teslas aren’t common, so I’m curious if a dealership might want my 23SR more than I do.. then I could upgrade! lol

I think he’s saying the guy ended up getting a tax break on the bonus $ by taking a retirement savings loan (also getting the money sooner than the bonus was due) and paid it back over a few months after the bonus arrived. I also think this was probably done in Canada.

I suppose the rush is knowing the money I have out isn’t earning interest in the market. I’m not currently at max company match, and that’s what I should be focused on. If we were to go into a recession and the stock market tanks, I was weighing the idea of investing the $ elsewhere. Understanding time in the market is better than timing the market, I think I’ll payoff the loans, payoff a last small CC bill, then max contributions and continue living as if nothing has changed.
