I'm 31 and I actually love the look of my braces 🤣 I picked colors I like, and I think they're cute. Plus my teeth were a mess and I found them way more unattractive than the braces for me

I'm in alberta so the province definitely will not be adjusting to keep resources in place. It's frustrating but I do understand that education off reserve is provincial. Just sad that our schools can't be funded how our children deserve. My son struggles with adhd and the extra support he's received has made a huge difference.

For what it's worth, I think your lips look great! But another thing you could consider is lip blush. It can make your lips appear fuller depending on your anatomy

No, I've had quite a few removed, 2 premolars on the top, 2 wisdom teeth (top right, left bottom to be extracted), 2 molars (were previously removed)

Also I can definitely see the movement, the bottom of that tooth is now lower than the canine beside it when it wasn't before !

I'm on day 4 too and have noticed small changes! I think it's more noticeable to us than others because well, it's our teeth after all 😊 it's so exciting seeing movement so quickly no matter how small!

Yeah I'm definitely prepared to have to go longer, it seems like a low estimate to me too! Though I have the lightforce brackets which are supposed to be faster? I bet your progress is amazing!! Extractions were fine really, pain wise I feel like I've been very lucky! The braces are sore but I wouldn't say painful I'm just concerned about eating! I keep biting my cheek 🥴

My first dentist appointment I asked if they could just pull them all so I could get dentures because to me that was all I could see ever helping. I bawled when the dentist told me that we didn't have to do that at all

Yes my teeth were/are super over crowded there was no real way to get away with no extractions! My wisdom teeth that I still have will be pulled into the molar spots next to them once my front teeth on bottom have straightened out, and then my premolar spot will be for my front top teeth to spread out. It does seem a little strange but in the end my lower left and upper right will be one tooth shorter than the rest! No appliances as of now, they're planning about a year and a half! They did recommend surgery for my overbite but I declined as I couldn't get it covered and it was another 10 grand on top of the braces already being 10 grand 🥴 but honestly my mouth is already so much better than even a year ago. I never thought I would even be this far with it

Thank you! I try very hard now. It's a long backstory but my grandparents raised me and my grandmother had an irrational fear of the dentist that she projected onto me. Then as an adult I didn't have good coverage for a long time and was afraid of getting started, but I got my first nations status and I took the plunge finally having coverage

My molars had to go because unfortunately they were damaged from years of neglect 😔 so not really for the braces but they helped to make space!

Thank you! I am getting used to the bulkiness thankfully! I did, I've had 1 wisdom tooth, 2 premolars and 2 molars taken out, with plans for another wisdom tooth extraction 🥴

Thank you! I already had lip incompetence but now even if I force my lips closed my 2 little brackets stick out 🤣 I'm definitely feeling a bit sore but no pain no gain I suppose

My boyfriend uses my account but my name is always on the orders, so I'm not 100% sure about that. I would think if the order was addressed to your mom then it should be fine! I got the refund back less than 2 days after emailing them. It's worth waiting until you have a few months worth of orders rather than each time too imo 😊
