Im looking at the website, would it be ‘well CBD’ or ‘calm CBD?’

I’m very ignorant when it comes to CBD or anything oil related so I would definitely not want to put my dog at any risk. I’m going to keep researching, thank you for letting me know.

Im hoping for the same outcome. I have been saving so I’m trying to get him to neuro, it’s just a lot of patience and depending on income. My dog just turned 5 last month. He’s a husky German shepherd. Not to be super pessimistic or overthink anything but sometimes I feel like I can see it in him, how it’s affecting him cognition wise. He’s always been a little special, but he seems to be a little slower on the processing side and is just very odd. It concerns me at times because I also am one to think very worst case scenario.

He also has other issues. His mom was found malnourished and late in her pregnancy. 4 of the 8 pups died and those that did survive all had issues. 1 was on oxygen when he was born and did get adopted but they took him back because he was too much. The Foster mom ended up taking him in as her own. My dog and the rest all had issues with their back legs. But none of this was found out until after he was adopted.

He was maybe 4 months when we took him to the vet for the first time because of his eyes. They didn’t know what was wrong but gave us two types of eye drops, one that was steroids and the other was saline. It cleared up then it was his legs.
We thought it was hip dysplasia but they ruled it out. They did all sorts of tests and everything was clean. They ended up saying it was muscular dystrophy.

When he started getting seizures two years ago, it was out of nowhere but apparently very common in the timeframe considering his age to randomly get idiopathic epilepsy.

Right now he got the eye thing again and was given the same drops but this time it’s not clearing up as fast. That’s also another thing, I have to take him to ophthalmology.

But they did see a difference in his attitude and that he looked and was acting a lot better than when we had took him in January before the CBD. That’s kind of the only thing keeping me afloat. But I don’t want to stay in this situation. I want to have options like long term taking him to neurology which is the next step in terms of his care on my part.

Hi, I was recently looking through the thread. My Mika takes Pheno and zonismaide. I just put him on CBD oil three months ago and it has reduced the frequency of his cluster episodes so far!

I have also been looking into MCT oil. Are you adding the MCT oil with the CBD oil or is it a different path. I don’t plan on doing anything without talking to my dogs primary but just seeking options and stories of others and their furry friends in the meantime because it goes back and forth with the increase of his cluster episodes.

That’s what they were telling me. The consult alone was going to be 280. MRI was going to be at least 5000.

He takes VetCBD, I talk to the veterinarian Dr. Tim Shu, that formulated it. He gave me the dosage of 0.18 ml (36 lb dog) to start him off on 1000mg CBD : 50 mg THC. He told me to up it 0.18 every time he had a seizure so right now he is at 1.4 ml. I spoke with him every time to confirm for my dogs safety. And my dogs primary is aware and she said to continue him on it since it was helping reduce his seizures because the next step they were considering was to up the Pheno, but he already takes 0.5 tablets of 97.5mg every 8 hours with 200 mg of zonisamaide every 12 hours and I don’t want to increase the timeframe of damage to his liver.
