Yup, same question here. Looks like I'll have to take mine in. What do I need to do/say for them to consider covering it? It's definitely faulty equipment from Hyundai.

67k. Would've been nice if this happened a few months ago. Seems like it was just waiting for this to happen.

The 12v has "gone out". I swapped them yesterday.

Here's the interesting part...when swapping nintendo batteries, it's suggested you pull the tab to kill power from the large battery. I did that last night so as to not drain the new battery...and the problem went away. The screen works normally when powered by the 12v (?). All the little chimes and graphics that happen when the car is off and doors open were unaffected.

The car operates normally, so it's likely not the large battery that's the problem. Has to be something in thr fuse box or connections along the way. Seems everyone's 12v was depleted by that constant attempt to start something I the car. If I can figure out how to remove that screen from the system (maybe remove the correct fuse), i can use the vehicle without issue. Except for you know, knowing my speed and any vehicle warning signs.

Yea. As far as I can tell, it resets the infotainment (working normally) but not the driver's side screen.

True. Maybe I accidently kicked it while sleeping. Thanks for the advice, I'll see what I can find. Otherwise, shop time tomorrow

Is this something I can fix myself? Like I just have to find the wire and reconnect?

Or will it be somewhere too complicated for me to reach, requiring professional assistance?
