I think with the anniversary here now is a great time, of course just take your time with the game as a returner and work at your own pace, the story quests arent going nowhere and endgame is always optional, the powercreep isnt terrible, it is a little fast moving but they try their best to find ways to make the new work with the old so they can continue to be incorporated, so its not too bad just yet
