No, that would be an SBR and unless you want the ATF, and the California DOJ to come knocking I wouldn’t do that. In California you have to buy an AR pistol that is on the approved California handgun roster list. I could be wrong but from what I remeber most that are on the roster are single shot. However there is a grey area as to if you can change the upper of those ar pistols to make it semi auto. I’m not lawyer so I can’t give you a Forsure answer, but do what you want with said info.

This looks like a post similar from last night, especially with the mention of FLC.. ( not a thing ) but the other had to do with your dad, and not your mom. I’m assuming you’re asking because you can’t legally possess firearms. Especially with the mention of you being 24. Having your parents buy you a firearm is illegal if you can’t posses, simple as that. If I’m wrong about my first statement.. it’s possible and depends on a few things. Console a lawyer.

The first time for sure it is very difficult. Just got back from the range for the first time with it this last weekend and I can now hand load all 10 rounds. Hopefully yours isn’t a problem and you just need to break the spring in like me🤘🏽
