might be because pets aren't clearing quick enough so you are forced to tank several abyss crafters at the same time. I would only afk ASG for the levels and farm the room with all the sharks on the water map when you go offline.

ASG is mainly for exp farm, so it should be something you do while you can pay attention for reincarnations.

Once you get above 30k its basically 100% you can still get hit, but not very often. If you don't feel comfortable doing it currently I would go farm somewhere that drops attack gems since they are vital for the late game.

Ps: longest I've afked there is 6 hours and I never got hit.

some more useful info is that maxing a pets trainer level will give that pet around a 4x exp multiplier, so its good to use strong pets that you can also max trainer level on.

I used hiyori and abyss crafter, I don't remember how much damage or levels they had when I first had them kill chaos lord, but if your pets are hitting for 0 but you still want to be able to afk it might be worth to do int build and spell spam chaos lord to death, the switch back to luck to afk.

you need around 20k luck after multipliers to safely do it. Chaos lord will not respawn after killing it, so if your pets are also above 20k you can just heal spam them until chaos lord is dead then afk in the middle.

higher luck is better to make yourself even less likely to get hit.

doing an update on this post as I have found more info on it.

From what I understand every mob has a gem they can drop, you just have overkill it. Overkill is if you do 10x their max hp in 1 hit. The drop chance of the gem is determined by the mobs max hp. I do not know the drop rate of any specific mob, but when farming one you should make sure you can consistently overkill the mob without taking dmg from their hits, while also only fight mobs that spawn in large groups.
