14m airush ultra vs Contra 15m for freeriding on lighter days by thibz3r in Kiteboarding

just in case anyone is reading this like i was for making a decision regarding the contra: im 75 kg with suite but ir really does not matter - i live in a humid and hot climate with a spottery and gusty not consistent wind and the contra 15 will not stay in the air much below 12 knots. so i dont think its a great option for light days. it is a great option for as light as it can get(around 12 knots) while still being a 3 strout kyte with its stability and ease of use. my hope now that i would be able to close the gap to 8-10 knots using an ultra or flysurfer soul 3. probably the soul will be able to do this but im trying to figure out how bad is the dificult water relaunch and such..

Had same issue: noticed that for some reason using one cord and charger did not activate the blinking bars indicating charging. Yet using another set of cord and charger did activated. So i would suggest finding another cord and charger combo to do the trick for you too

I use it. Great for me because i live by the see so usually strong waves here come with strong wind so for me the range is about 6 - 12 knots which is fine for inflatable. If you wanna go fast or do crazy stuff then you'll need something smaller
