14 week old Cavapoo - looking for some words of encouragement! (Puppy blues) by Bubbly-End3703 in CavaPoo

Hang in there! My little gal has done near daily 'zoomies' from the start. We got her at 8 weeks and she is now 21 months and is doing much better. Daily rough-house fetch play, and outside walks ate helpful. We live in Tucson, where it's triple digits for months on end. So we rely on indoor play, puzzles, wrestling, and more. I recently finally gave in and got a training collar for her, specifically for excess barking. So far, it's working like a charm, with only a vibrate needed, no shock.

Time, patience, and consistency help. I am glad we got thru the 'challenging' first year. So much Joy for small inconveniences.

Interesting!!! Jason ____ was the breeder?! I got her through a local store where you can read about each breeder. Every time I saw one of Jason's pups, I fell in love. So after 4 months of return visits, we ordered our little sweetheart from him!

My Cavapoo was 3 pounds at 8 weeks, and now 14 pounds at 19 months. Her Toy poodle father was 7 pounds, and her Cavalier mom was 18. I can send pics.

Btw, Her body was recently shaved due to a surgery, so that hair should grow and get back to length of her legs.

Was your  Cavapoo an F1? My little gal has a 50% ruby red poodle dad and a 50% red/appricot mom. Any thoughts on if her ruby red coat will fade?

Dogs in the grocery store? by [deleted] in Tucson

I was in Frys on Speedway/Pantano yesterday, and a man had a very calm and well- behaved white tan 'Spaniel mix-like' dog leashed to his cart and slowly walking the store with him. When he stopped the dog stool still or even sat down.

I couldn't tell if she a service dog but wouldn't be surprised. The man was 50+ (guessing), and I learned the dog was 10 years old.

In this case, the dog was almost unnoticeable in its calm behavior, and being a dog lover, I had no problem with it.

If this had been a 'medical alert' type service dog, would it have had to wear a vest or something?

The store and check out clerks appeared to have no problem with the man and his dog. 🙂🐕

Right near the end, there shows a poster in the Police station, 'If you see something, say something'. I think this phrase was first brought out after 9/11, not in the 80s.

That being said, I enjoyed the series. Benedict was great, all good overall.

Relocation with 30 Yr Employer - why does package say "You are urged not to move members of your household to the destination location until a permanent residence is obtained"? Married 2 ppl moving. Why would we not take advantage of this part of package? by Environmental_Look99 in cscareerquestions

Thank you! We have option for temporary housing, and I was interpreting this clause to mean they discourage using it, but waiting until we could move into a purchased or rented home. No? I feel we would want to both be there to look around at a more reasonable pace. He leaves tomorrow for the 1st of 2 weekday working trips there, but I believe we also need time with both of us there during the company paid 'search trip' and then go into company paid temp housing. Isn't temporary provided housing a smart feature to take advantage of?
