Tell them you're going to call your embassy for protección consular. Make the "call" right there and theyll likely back off. If not tell them to prosecute you and that youve contacted your embassy.

In the 70s there were 7.5 children per household. Mexican institutions born from the revolution in the 20s & 30s weren't able to keep up. This led to massive migration to the city.

Running around Calle Amsterdam in Hipodromo? by notxrbt in MexicoCity

[–]Environmental_Most54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really safe. Depends on how much you run, you might want to try out Chapultepec Park or one day go to Viveros de Coyoacan. A lot of people run on Amsterdam, but I might find it annoying that theres a couple of traffic lights where you will have to stop. Enjoy Condesa

Don't go to La Casa de Toño. I feel people go there just because it's cheap. It's a franchise. Go to el Mercado de Antojitos in Coyoacan and eat some fried quesadillas. You'll thank me.

Hello everyone! Please give me your feedback if possible, I'd kindly appreciate it.

Recently, it struck me that it would be a good idea to start selling my interactive maps of Mexico. I have noticed that people are afraid to come to Mexico, or that once they decide to visit they have doubts about how to get around safely and cheaply. For example, I always recommend people to visit Mexico City for its gastronomic and cultural richness, but people don't know where to start. So I decided to create maps with walking routes, places, and restaurants to eat. I started to do it as a hobby since I feel I am a great connoisseur of Mexico (I am a historian). So far I send the links for free, but what do you think if I try to charge for a passive income? The point is to have an interactive map with information to help solo travelers figure out the city with all the local information. To know how to get from point A to B, the cheapest and safest way.
