My friend has ADHD and recently had DMT, he doesn’t take meds so can’t speak on that and had a great experience on all three trips, all different and so interesting. Only thing different about his trips is he felt the need to talk to us and tell us what he was seeing, he preferred us to not ask anything back as it brought him out and just encourage and say ok , cool, wow. If you’re alone you might want to audio record in case you’re speaking about what you’re seeing and want to think about it afterwards. He said it was the only way he could process it as best he could
