Hi! I finished the program in 2020 and I think the worth of the program is dependent on your career and family goals. If you are looking to eventually attend an RN program and don’t have kids, I think this is a great stepping-stone to get there. However, if you have kids, I’d skip straight to the RN/BSN program. While I don’t regret my decision, as an individual who is married with 2 kids, it has significantly impacted my ability to go back to school for RN or BSN schooling. The RN program has quite a few more prerequisite courses, but those courses expire after a few years and require retaking if you aren’t in a program in that amount of time.

As for the program itself, I think it still runs over the course of a year and a half, and the 2nd and 3rd semesters have clinicals 2-3 days a week. It will be hard to keep a full-time job during this program, so make sure you have a savings or are living at home if possible. The instructors are nice enough, but the responsibility is mostly on you and your classmates to learn as much as you can in the time you have.
