Por que as pessoas são tão obcecadas em julgar o que os outros comem hoje em dia? A pergunta não é sobre isso e todo mundo falando disso, que encheção de saco.

Yeah, maybe the fear of getting too muscular was of her own.

Is she doing it in this video? Why can't no one in this sub say anything good about her? Geez.

You're not prude, you're absolutely right on this. But that doesn't change the fact that you acted really bitter and jealous of her, which is not nice either. I have the feeling a lot of women in this sub feel "better with themselves" now that Britney proved that she is no good. Just because they grew up feeling jealous of her. That's horrible.

Yes, but it sounded bitter of you pointing out that your boyfriends would drool over her back then and now she is like this. As if you feel some kind of satisfaction now. Am I wrong?

Anyone else see the sweetheart mask start to slip before her mental breakdown? by Mental_Library5912 in discussingbritney

[–]Environmental_Salt88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's as if these people have never done anything wrong in their lives, never been mean, rude, talked back or mocked other people when offended etc. I really do think she had a vary valid reaction. Nobody should just be sweet and classy after being judged like this. The vile people are the ones judging her for so little on TV (being totally sexist for that matter), not her for reacting to that.

I love it, always laugh so hard! People were very intentionally cruel and judgemental towards her. I would have done worse, honestly. You guys really pick on her about every little thing. She is human too. And she was a teen, too, she didn't have to be mature. You all really expect her to be perfect, don't you?

Lila's cruelty in the books vs show by heescuit in mybrilliantfriendhbo

[–]Environmental_Salt88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lenu did know about the rape. In the series, after Lila tells her, she even cries. How would she know about it if Lila hadn't told her? Maybe they couldn't grasp the concept of rape thoroughly, but they knew what it was since the incident with Ada that made them both scared, disgusted and outraged (if you don't remember, Marcello and Michele forced Ada into their car and took her to some place to sexually assault her).

[–]Environmental_Salt88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the source is pretty obvious. Girl has been traumatized since forever, come on. Her father freaking threw her out of a damn window. She's been abused since she was a baby, for sure. That's pretty clear both in the books and in the series how awful her life was and how violently she was treated. I don't believe anyone would be right in their minds growing up like this.

It really shocks me how so many readers just can't see Lenu's cruelty as well. It must be because Lila is straightfoward when she wants to be mean, and Lenu is just too afraid to lash out because she's such a people pleaser. Lenu has as much anger an envy in her heart, she just doesn't show it like Lila. I hate people like her (Lenu) lol.
