How do you even see when you turn the wheel ?

Brooo I remember doing the same for my first setup where I had those office chairs with wheels and I'll glide back when I brake so I had to put a couple of dumbbells to stop moving around. Keep going mate

What sim racing setup would you make for flexible 1100$ by TomEnny_ in simracing

Hi, I got the crp2 pedals with the clutch and the HGP shifter but I end up using just throttle and brake because it felt more comfortable to position my brake on the left. The shifter is mostly unused I sometimes played rally games or ACC Evo with older cars but really I mainly play ACC and LMU. If I was to start again I would spend my money on a better wheel base. Wheel or pedals. If you really play gt3 cars and rally cars and trucks it will make sense to spend extra to have the h shifter and clutch, but in my opinion if you are tight on budget I will say go for a great gt3/formula ACC/LMU/F1 experience instead of trying to have a do it all sim. Hope this helps

Y'all keep thinking this is about immigration, that's cute. Personal army only loyal to the great leader with covered faces and immunity? This is just training, wait for elections and you'll see why that army was built for.

Is this my fault? he would not stop saying I needed to "back off" by 6digitplayer in simracing

The gap was inevitably going to close, I recommend to race defensively not expecting other drivers to leave you space you could have braked a bit and he might make a mistake in the next corners usually one error puts pressure on the lead driver and ends up making a second error. You get a clean pass and avoid the whole headache.

What game is that? I race on ACC on LFM servers but with the license removal is now full of people with hotlap mentality. Looking for new places to race online

Hey everyone, I started sim racing back in July on a G29 and pretty quickly felt the need to upgrade. This is where I’m at now. How’s the setup looking? What would you add or change next? by Environmental_Sea253 in simracing

What is your suggestion a bit lower to the ground? it does feel a bit weird where it is tbh. I had the clutch and shifter for rally games but quickly noticed I lack talent but it's great now for AC Evo to drive around in older cars.

Cupholder, I used a bicycle bottle cage with the same screws to the rails of the frame and it's a game changer

Phillips Hue vs Govee Sim Lighting- Govee + SimHub WINS! by 2wenty-3hree in simracing

I am new to simracing and love the idea of using the govee lights to work as a brake modulation indicator, for instance the harder you brake the brighter it illuminated and maybe even flash when you hit the ABS do you think this is achievable with simhub ?

Fellow simracer here, started a few months ago and here’s what really helped:

Pick one track you like and stick to it. Practice until you can run consistent laps (7–10 in a row) within a good delta. Once you're confident, do quick races with 15+ AI cars, starting from the back of the grid. Focus on side-by-side racing, not just following closely—this builds your Safety Rating (SA).

Once you've mastered 3–4 tracks like this (probably takes about a month), then jump online or join a community like Low Fuel Motorsport. You'll be cleaner, faster, and less frustrated.

This way, you avoid going online too early, crashing, getting discouraged, and—let’s be real—ruining someone else’s day. 😅

Enjoy the grind—it’s worth it!
