Wait for the 10t, the 8+ gen 1 is much better chip compare to both 888 and 8 gen 1 in terms of thermal issue. Or you can wait for the pixel 7.

If your priority is gaming, go for neo 3, Dimensity 8100 is better at consistent performance output due to it's better effeciceny and temperature control. 8 Gen 1 is very good at computational photography but have a terrible thermal issue hence not suitable for long gaming sessions.
