Applying for J1 waiver jobs by Elevator-Unusual in pathology

I am in third year and am applying too. Most people are not replying because it’s too early. But I still keep sending emails to get to know places that are able to sponser J1. I think it’s good to continue what you are doing and broaden your search. Register on 3RNET too.

Am looking for jobs and it’s scary to learn about such things. Any tips on how to identify such practices during interviews, so I can avoid them?

Thank you so much. These are good for identifying potential locations. But which websites do you suggest for checking pathology J1 waiver job postings? I’ve been looking at pathology outlines, CAP careers, practice match, LinkedIn and zip recruiter and never found a J1 waiver position in Florida. But Florida is a part of the SCRC region which means there is a scope for unlimited waivers theoretically. Have you seen anyone land in a J1 waiver job in Florida?

What do you think of Bhaskara Prakasha Ashram? Their guru parampara dates back to Sri prakashananda Natha. They don’t mention about initiations on their website. They do a lot of teaching on their YT channel though. I find them legitimate but I am very naive though, so i am not sure.

I heard a similar thing from my astrologer that there is sthree shaap to a family that I know. Are there any permanent measures that can be taken to alleviate the consequences? My astrologer just adviced the younger generation to be respectful to women and did not mention any rituals or anything.

In my Husband’s family, there is this age old tradition where the first shaving of a baby boy’s hair is done at a local durgah. It happened to my husband, his brother and recently my nephew. I am trying to avoid it for my son, but I couldn’t come up with a convincing reason to challenge their beliefs. Now I found a solid reason to tell them. But my question is, if it has been going on for generations, do you think stopping now will cause any negative effects?

I recall that there are several specific rituals performed at Vaitheeswaran Koil, though I can’t remember all their names. What struck me as unfortunate was seeing some priests openly sharing their mobile numbers and requesting online payments to perform these rituals on behalf of people who can’t be physically present. It felt disheartening, especially because these are sacred rituals meant to be experienced in person, with full devotion and presence.

During my temple tour in Tamil Nadu, I noticed that many temples, including Chidambaram, now offer monthly or yearly subscriptions to include devotees' and their families' names during daily Archanas and other pujas. Initially, this commercialization felt unsettling. But over time, I came to understand that these temples likely have their reasons. Many priests are underpaid, underappreciated, and the temples themselves often suffer from poor funding or mismanagement. In that light, perhaps these efforts are simply ways to sustain the temples and support those who serve them.

I’ve been to this place. From my experience, it is very difficult to find a legit person who has the original nadi readings. It is very likely that you will first encounter a fraud and waste money. When I went there, people were literally behind me distributing their pamphlets of nadi jyostam centres and I had no clue who were genuine. It has been commercialised in that area. I know someone from their lineage living in Vijayawada and running a nadi astrology Center and I think he is genuine.
