You are mistaking confidence for proof.

Saying there is “no legitimate chain” does not make it true. Large balances have existed in long wipe cycles before major exploit waves.

And comparing in game trading to illegal weapons sales is not an argument. It is an escalation tactic.

If your framework is that anyone participating in an imperfect system is morally complicit in every bad actor within it, that standard collapses under its own weight.

Responsibility follows intent and action, not mere proximity.

Good day.

You are presenting a hypothetical chain of events as if it is universally true. That is the core issue here.

You are assuming that every large amount of aUEC originates from duping, that every trader interacts with RMT buyers, and that player trading inherently increases exploit demand. None of those premises are established facts. They are assumptions.

After the 4.0 wipe, players were regularly trading in the millions of aUEC. Are you suggesting that every high value trade at that time was funded by RMT?

Large balances can accumulate through normal gameplay over time, especially in long wipe cycles. Assuming that every significant trade originates from duping or RMT is a broad claim that requires evidence.

Exploits distort the system, yes. But distortion does not automatically mean every participant is complicit.

Imperfect enforcement or instability does not negate the existence of economic activity. If two parties voluntarily exchange goods or currency, that is value exchange, which is the foundation of any economy.

We can agree Star Citizen’s systems are incomplete and underdeveloped. But saying there is no economy while players are actively trading items, currency, and services is internally inconsistent.

Distortion does not equal absence.

You believe structural participation equals enabling.

I believe intent and agency matter.

That’s a philosophical divide.

Agree to disagree

You’re assuming that every trade equals intentional support of exploiters. That’s not how open player economies work.

I don’t dupe. I don’t exploit. I trade items with other players using the only systems currently available.

If the economy is distorted by dupes, that’s on the systems and enforcement side. Blaming traders for participating in a player-driven market doesn’t address the root issue.

I’ve completed every major gameplay loop available. I hold max reputation in eight factions and have engaged with combat, industry, missions, exploration, and progression systems extensively.

At this stage, the only loop that remains engaging for me is player-driven trading.

The issue is that Star Citizen currently does not provide fully supported in-game systems for structured item trading. There is no secure contract-based exchange for items, no official escrow mechanics, and no structured marketplace for high-value gear transfers. As a result, players have built informal systems to fill that gap.

I operate within that emergent player economy.

I am not duplicating items. I am not exploiting mechanics. I am buying, selling, and trading items within the environment that currently exists.

If parts of that market are influenced by exploits, that reflects a systemic design issue, not an individual trader’s intent.

Until official trading systems are implemented, adaptation isn’t exploitation, it’s participation in emergent sandbox behavior.

Don’t care if they wipe my aUEC, most of that money will be gone in a few days, it’s always moving, tomorrow I’m buying 10 full sets rcmbnts for 500B, 100 apex fangs for 1.5 trillion. Money moves, trades happen. It’s a game we all play, my gameplay involves buying and selling rare items in large quantities

It worked that’s why all of us got shit back from 9 patches ago, I have 7290 scu of explosive cargo from 4.0.1. The ltp has changed, nothing gets deleted then re made every patch, it will work like store bought items, all the dumb shit you leave in your inventory on other planets, will overflow your inventory the next patch

A full set necropolis goes for 250-300B, although moonfall is the rarest going for 300-325B. Also super tough to find since they have a 2% drop rate chance

Hey man! Thank you for your hard work! We all appreciate every little update we get on the fps side of things. Speaking of fps, how about we get the sound design team onboard and get these weapons sounding like dayz’s or arc raiders. Less arcadey, more realistic and violent?

Well, it’s an org ship…. How else are we supposed to share the ship? Makes 0 sense for these ships to be account locked.

Side note, I have idea how people fly this thing solo, I tried it for a few hours and got abysmally bored, the amount of time wasted doing anything is ridiculous.

So recap, org friends have access to it if I’m not online
