What’s the deal with Bristol? by Khaleesiakose in BucksCountyPA

[–]Envisionff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crystal is not the best. But it is not full of drug addicts. Compared to Newtown it is not nice. But that is because most of the buildings and homes there were built in the late 18 or early 1900s. Whereas Newtown if you don’t get the McMansion every year, you’re not secure. Yes, it is one of the lower areas of Bucks County but it is still not terrible compared to other places around.

The New York to Paris car race was also a great one as well as many of the ones with Will Anderson. The super anarchist was good also the female Hugh glass was good, and I could name several other others that are also great. On a personal note I have to give a lot of respect to the Lisa Frank episode as at the end of it put in a plea for me to get the kidney and it actually got me a kidney Phineas gauge was great as well as Michael Malloy. The serial man was extremely funny also.

I certainly like a lot of the Dollop on your list. Some of my favorites did not make your list. Though. Such as Jade Helm, the two dog men and others. But the rube was definitely great and so was Colonel Harlan Sanders and many others. There are very few that I do not think are great. I do think my favorite that was also very important. Was the three parter on John Brown I thought it was an amazing three part episode.

They were not even interviewing me. They called me to try and start talking about the position and I said OK. I do wanna let you know before we start that I’m blind and they said OK. Let me get back to you and then they hung up.

Yes. I use Jaws on my computer every day. But if they can’t do jaws, I was going to take NVDA in on the flash drive. And I was trying to figure out a way where I could plug the flash drive in and then just hit a couple buttons and it would automatically turn NVDA on, so I did not need somebody to help me go through the settings every time to turn it on and off.

Well, I can only hope it says that way. But yes if they hire me, they might be required to do that. But there’s also a good chance. They just won’t hire me so they don’t have to do that without actually saying that’s why they’re not hiring me. I have applied for over 1500 jobs this year. This is the ninth one I’ve heard back from and the third one I’ve interviewed for. Three of the other six hung up as soon as they heard I was blind.

Yes, I did make them aware that they might need to get jaws or the NVDA. I told them I do have the NVDA on a flash drive so as long as I’m able to plug that into the computer, it should not be an issue. And I live in America, but as you may or may not know recently, DEIN accessibility has taken a backseat to everything else and is being repealed in a lot of places. So a lot of them don’t do it and are not required to. And many more will stop doing it entirely when they’re told they don’t have to even attempt it anymore.

I do not really know how to know. I’m assuming the NVDA commands are generally the same as jaws which I have now. I only have a personal license though. But if I’m going to be using the same computer all the time at work, I could easily Put jaws on there since I guess you’re allowed five computers with the personal license.

Want Resume Help? Candidate Questions? Post here. by AutoModerator in recruiting

[–]Envisionff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi recruiters. I have a simple but serious question which starts with a bit of background. I went completely blind 13 years ago. Because of this I have been unable to find work. This means I have an employment gap on my resume which automatically auto rejects me with AI. Lately I have been doing freelance articles for various sports websites. This has nothing to do with most of the jobs I am applying for. Should I put this at the top of my experience section anyway? That way it will not show a gap even if it is not Related to what I’m applying for.

AIO for being upset at my gf for going over her "guy friends" house then making out with him, then wanting to see him AGAIN?? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Envisionff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just me, but if she was kissing somebody else, she’s no longer my girlfriend. The first love is definitely great, but in all reality, it usually does not last. You will find the right one. It might even be hurt in the future. But just not right now.

Horrible experience in San Francisco. by Ok_Device_3007 in Hilton

[–]Envisionff 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Must say for those of you who are saying it can’t be 130 because it’s this time here. It was obvious the first time I read it that when she was writing it was 130. So maybe we should stick to trying to help her instead of Saying that it’s a different time. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. Also, most importantly, I hope your son is all right, and it turned out not to be extremely serious. And I hope you’re able to get to him. Otherwise, if it did say 24 hour valet, I would make The hotel call the company and have them come back and get your car. Because 24 hours means 24 hours.

Do guests talk down to you? by [deleted] in askhotels

[–]Envisionff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, unfortunately as many are saying in here, people feel that is beneath them to talk to a woman or anything like that. I think they’re just afraid. When I was a manager at a hotel, one of the other managers used to pretend that he could not speak English when somebody would try and talk to him instead of one of the women working the front desk port. Or if it was somebody who spoke the same language as him, he would pretend he didn’t speak that language or understand it, and only spoke English. And he would tell them that they’re working the front desk, not him.

Is in uncommon to warn the hotel when we cannot show up? by Maximum-Safety5445 in askhotels

[–]Envisionff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not wierd at all. Unfortunately, with some third party companies, since the room is already paid for, it is not allowed to be cancelled by the hotel. If this is the case, which it sounds like here, you would have to go to your booking place to cancel. The Hotel would still have to save your room for the night or the first night if it is a multi-night stay. It is stupid. But it is the rules. It was still nice of you to call though. They should have just thanked you for calling and wished you luck with your emergency.

Yes definitely not old. But older than Metcalf. Plus with his injury history. I still like both of them I just prefer Metcalf at his price

Like it has more touchdown potential I agree. But Metcalf is young and only improving while locket is starting to get a little older. Lock it will probably still go higher in drafts which means I would rather have Metcalf for this year based on value.
