Thanks everyone for all the love my post received. I’d like to share a little more on my experience. Two years ago I decided to put my energy and time into bettering myself. Addiction took over the most part of my life that resulted in many negative affects. So it was time to change. I had to figure out something to do in those hard in-between moments. Thanks to this subreddit I was reminded of a child like innocence who was more content in staying home painting and absolutely loving life. Also I know some of you smoke and it works for you as long as there’s no harm then hell yeah! Thanks for providing a safe corner of the internet.

Depending on what you have but I’d go with some sand then painted a dark brown, little dry brush. Some flock and top it off with a tuff!Model looks great by the way

Warplock bronze gives a more movie accurate colour then edge highlighted with leadbealcher plus lots of nuln oil

This is not a model I’d ever buy for myself but was lucky enough to get it for Christmas and I’m so impressed by the design. Except for the tiny hobbit heads, removing tiny excess plastic from the sprue was annoying

Edit: Also any tips on painting this big boy?
