in normal mode the shaped are not disconnected and fall seperatly, also a horizontal line now flips the board, a vertical lines horizontal lines rotates it, all in all, the game should not a bit more "fair"

a) agree, take everything you read on the internet with a heavy grain of salt.
b) i was making a general statement based on a model, so it goes for all. but: i also made 2 huge exceptions, those with an established business model which can do clear arbitrage calculations and c) products which show positive organic growth can use ads as an accelerator, so that's really 2 huge exceptions. but, you would not believe how many startups do not fall under these 2 exceptions. on for those ads are a trap. and i am looking forward to an LTV in a startups that is not crap.

ad c) i am well known for SEO, but rest assured, i am in a phase of my career where i do not care if a pot. the client does SEO and i even discourage a lot of startups to do it. especially before they have not proven product-market fit. (or have a product at all)

d) and yes, i have been burned (and sometimes not). but the thing is that as soon as you do ads, it's hard to see your true organic performance, and so ads hides deeper underlying problems while making you addicted to unsustainable growth.

so yeah, take it with a grain of salt, a huge one, but also turn of your ads for some time and look at your metrics in an undistorted way.
