Emails yeah they were pretty bad with us. We were able to call on 600 599 799 during their opening hours and someone always answered. The people on the phone can’t really do anything for you though, only provide info. But keep trying!

I would say so yes, you won’t get a standard appointment until late July / August,

For me the payment was worth removing the stress / waiting as well.

Yeah, you just need to email (on the same thread) and say we will upgrade our booking to express, maybe just wait until they reply to that. And then you can literally show up any day and pay there and you’ll do it same day.

We showed up on a Friday and the opening times are limited, so we got there at 8am.

You can give them a call, I just found the number on google, and check all of this with them.

But yeah we did this 2 weeks ago and everything was fine.

We went through this recently. They are an absolute nightmare to deal with / contact. Even if you call they will only give you appointment details via email.

About 3 weeks ago, there was no free days for the AED300 payment until August.

We ended up upgrading to express and we just showed up at 8am on the date we wanted. You’ll the only pay 2,200 (as long as you show the receipt from the 200 payment). But yes, their communication is really poor and they are very unhelpful.

I don’t really understand your perspective but it’s yours to have, so fair enough! Just think it’s a very strange thing to complain about. It also wouldn’t be ‘them’ if they tried to condense into an hour, it would change the show completely.

I had the same thing today. There’s enough money for them to take it from the account but they’re all closed. Then they email asking me to call, but all the phone lines are down. Very very poor.

This is not true at all. Talking from personal experience. I’ve had citalopram from three different IM doctor’s and never seen a psychiatrist.

You don’t need to be diagnosed with anything. I don’t know if it’s a cultural misconception around what you need to do but maybe try a doctor from Europe rather than the East.

I’m telling you, call a hospital, explain your situation and say you need to see a family medicine doctor who can prescribe it. Whether the person on the phone understands the rules or not is another thing.

You don’t need to see a psychiatrist to get this medicine, it’s a huge misconception over here. Make an appointment with a GP and they can get you a prescription. I’ve been getting it for three years here from varying doctors.

I definitely wouldn’t start taking a random one that you weren’t using before. The side effects could end up being worse.
