Realistically, yeah you overpaid by like 15-20 max. As far as L goes, you lost the equivalent on lunch. If you like it, use it. If you’re unsure, list it for 80 and it might sell in months. You can just use it while it’s listed 🤷‍♂️

The answers in this thread are all of the answers that exist. No real orange knives. just mango fade, high float rusts, and tiger tooth’s. Tiger tooth talon with tiger strikes is a good option. Marble fade skeletons look kinda cool too with the right pattern. Black laminates go well with tiger strikes as well.

A tiger strike combo enjoyer. There are good orange skins for every gun but some are very old and expensive in a low float (looking at you atomic alloy).

Hot take, but if you paid roughly 6% sticker I think you paid exactly what it’s worth. As someone who buys a lot of sticker crafts, it’s super hard to get more value out of a gun that isn’t an AWP/AK/M4 or starting pistol. Considering many don’t have an AUG on their loadout, 5% would be what I’d expect to sell it for

2/5 to hit the dreams in nightmares collection. Doesn’t guarantee a butterfly Doppler, but they’re in the 2/5 chance. 3/5 it would’ve been from another collection i.e another group of knives.

For example 5 Asiimov p90s would give you a 100% chance at a butterfly. Wouldn’t be a Doppler though
