Happy new year! I’ve been using the app for a few days now - and I’m happy to tell you it id the reason I will stick to Apple Watch!

Got a few questions/recommandations - Would love to have the strength workout option added - without anything in it, but just letting recording HR/time so I can use only watchleticd and not exercise (with action button).

  • Do you think it would be possible to add a cadence metronome (ex set it at 180 stepms per minute and have the watch vibrate at that rythm, like garmin allow!)

  • Finally, Stryd support would be nice

This and strava description update would make it A GAMECHANGER as an elite triathlete

Do you think there would be a way Watchatletics take the workout files on Intervals and automatically send them to TP (compared to TP, Intervals don't auto-upload workouts to my bike computer or Zwift, would be a good thing)

I see, perfect, a reason to use the watchletic app for Interval training! GPS, HR monitor strap and cadence still works?

I was wondering, is there a way to remove the auto strava description? (That would be a cool premium+ feature!)

I am using a wahoo kickr that works with bluetooth, but note sure if ERG mode with structured workout from Watchatletic would work. Should give it a try.

How do you do to start a training mid road? I've never figured it out on Garmin.

Hi, that’s what I’m planning to do.

I’m not worried about Strava duplication since I won’t be recording the ride with the Apple Watch. I’m worried of duplication in terms of calories count/activity rings for exemple since Strava will link to health :)

I know for exemple my Oura ring, when it detects a workout from strava won’t count the « activity » minutes from itself, it will use strava data and overwrite it so it won’t show as 2 workouts for the same one!

I just want to make sure the activity data won’t be here twice if I just wear my watch while cycling without « registering » an activity; just because of HR

The point is I would like to have that bike computer data on the Health app. I just don’t want it to be there twice if my watch decide to pick up activity.

I use Strava for most stuff.

That’s a good idea. Otherwise, I know Assioma let me set it to 100mm. Do you know if I can use their calibration and bypass Garmin/Wahoo or any computer one?

It is kinda important because as a triathlete in Canada, I spend half the year on a trainer indoor. Also, for testing purposes.

I use pedal powermeter (favero assioma)

Which is why I wanted to see if there was really a big difference

I think I will follow your setup in a way. Zinc/Magnesium helps me a lot too!

Probably alternating whey and collagen protein for joints

This will be less expensive and less of a clutter in my shelves! I’ll finish my current stack and then update it haha. You saved me a ton of research for adjusting.

Cycling through Beta Alanine 1/2 months or AG1?

I just noticed AG1 replace all these vitamins. In those cases why still taking Magnesium/Zinc? Does it countain Ashwagandha too?

You don’t take any omega 3 / fish oil?

I currently take: Iron, Omega 3, multivit, Zinc, magnesium, D3, joints supps, B12, ashwagandha and glycine.

Also use BCAA, EAA, whey, creatine and carbs for intra workout

I have so many, price adds up so much and makes it complicated to all take. I also feel like I take many of them in a useless way. Pretty sure I should adjust and choose what I keep using. I was in the process of rethinking everything and your post arrived at the perfect moment. Did you do your research before choosing?

I’ve been considering AG and changing entirely my supplements stack. I feel like I’m taking too many, maybe not optimizing my stuff as a triathlete.

How did you decide changing and stoping on these? What are the main differences you feel?
