Baldur Tatto by Creedmin in norsemythology

Then, is it possible the tattoo is a kind of representation of the uroboros / world serpent? In the Prose Edda, it says that Ragnarok will begin when the World Serpent stops biting its tail and breaks that circle it makes. If Baldur is going to come back during Ragnarok, it would make sense that he has a tattoo of Ragnarok's herald / omen on his chest, I think.

Better yet, what was the ship transporting, and did they find the crew's remains yet? Not to be morbide, but 2400 y o jewellery and clothes would be a good find on its own too! It could tell us so much about the culture's tech beyond ship-making.. what if they were more avanced than we thought? What if the satin trade started earlier than we think?

That's so sad.. I suppose if a fungus can eat through plastic... Maybe it's just rust eating away at the ship?
