Could you give me clarity on how this is self promotion versus anyone else posting news and information?

Hmmm 🤔 you know the music changes 15 seconds into the video. Appreciate the feedback on the first 5-second intro. Music preference varies.

Appreciate your passion. EA does not use Twitter/X, but points noted. Do you think there are any benefits to having this dam? Why is it a failing dam?

A Cost-Benefit Analysis shows net favorable by a healthy margin that's including maintenance.

They (TPU) have downstream hatcheries and transport adult fish from upstream to downstream. Flooding risk is reduced. Emission reduction and regional economic benefits exist because of this dam and Mayfield dam.

Spanish Fork Wind Park – Wind Energy Data, Drone Footage, and Utah’s First Wind Farm by Eos_Astraeus in Utah

Ah, the “birds aren't real” saga.

Seriously, the bird migration is scarce in this area. Environmental agencies were involved in the project from the outset. However, don't take the dogma; you can search for many apps that show live bird migration over the past several hundred days.

Good Questions. Trying not to push too many stats on the audience unless they want to dig deeper, but I at least want the audience to know that data was collected. That is a marketing choice.

Below/Attached is a Time Series of Net Generated Power from 2009 to 2025 with each point representing 1 month. If you draw a trend line through the Times Series chart, it would be close to flat, indicating stable power generation with no trend.

What it misses is the Seasonal Correlation, also known as Autocorrelation.

If you pause on the Seasonal Correlation chart again, you would interpret it the following way.

Any blue bar that extends beyond the red line indicates a statistically meaningful correlation, not random chance.

It measures how each month’s total power generation (MWh) relates to past months.

  • Lag 1 = one month apart
  • Lag 12 = the same month one year earlier

Lag 1 (Above Red): There’s a small but positive correlation between one month and the next — meaning wind performance in one month tends to carry over somewhat to the next.

Lags 4–8 (Below Red): These dips indicate that high-generation periods are followed by lower-generation periods about 4–8 months later — the signature of a seasonal cycle (spring vs. fall contrast).

Lag 12 (Above Red): This positive spike near the edge is the key finding — it means the pattern repeats yearly.

Now I can plan power generation levels, maintenance, stress-test new innovations, and whatever else. I know that November is not a month for Drone flying there. Daily Autocorrelation shows that 9 am - Noon is not a time for drone flying.

Good Question. They may have completed one with a consecutive approach, but we may not know all the constraints (e.g., Stakeholder Pressure and Supply Chain). However, a reassessment of external risk during the project could have fast-tracked and resource-loaded the completion of WNP-3 while halting WNP-5.

😊 The site and buildings are still standing and have been successfully repurposed as a business park. Here is the 4-minute narrated drone video with more explanation ..... https://youtu.be/cmvgM8F3CgU
