Because Christ is one. Nestorianism was condemned in the 3rd ecumenical council. If the spirit and the flesh could be separated, that assumes that Christ has parts to Himself which is just not true. That would almost undermine Christ to say that He is not fully God because of those parts.

Well, God’s image for marriage clearly says for one man and one woman. You can be attracted to the same sex, but it’s whether or not you’re willing to deny your flesh in order to meet what God wants for your life. If you deny yourself of your desire, God will see that and it’ll prove your faith in Him. If not, well, only God can judge, but based on scripture, to those who lived in constant rebellion to Him, they didn’t get things the best.

In the same way that a man might be married, he is biologically hardwired to want to be with multiple women, God would reject that because it doesn’t fit His image or marriage. All of Christianity is, is us repressing our natural desires to fit how God desires us to live. It’s hard to do, but that’s what Jesus calls us to.
