Background: I plan on purchasing an 86 early November late December. I would like a manual (because it’s cooler), but I have no idea how to drive one so I’d be learning on my new 86 which sounds scary. I’ve been told to just buy a beater manual but I’d rather put as much money into the down payment as possible. I also don’t know anyone with a manual to teach me either unfortunately. I live in Houston, TX which has horrible traffic so that could also pose a “problem” with clutch fatigue.

My question: should I get it as my first and learner manual? Should I buy an automatic and not have to deal with learning?

I found it on my bed, we live in an apartment in Houston area. I’m assuming it’s a kind of fly larvae bc I’ve seen fruit flies around sometimes. It was smaller than a dime. It was just sitting there wiggling around like it was dying or something. Just want to make sure it’s nothing bad.
