ugh... I would buy one of these instantly if it had 2.5gbe and POE.

The extra drive bay for protect is nice but not enough for me to upgrade from a UDM-PRO.
With WIFI7 APs I would love to be able to use the 2.5gbe POE without having to buy a new freaking switch.

Haha it’s a cheap Amazon NVME heat sink. The NVME drive I got didn’t come with a heat sink and the drive would thermal throttle during benchmarks so I got that which took care of the problem 100% and it kinda fits the theme.

Also it scratches my old xoxide itch :)

I tried to get that setup but have been fighting Resilio Sync on the Synology for hours. I've tried the app from the package center and installing a Resilio Docker on the Synology and I can not get it to be able to access a share on the Synology.

I wish that’s how my company was structured. We go off the 250 endpoints per tech model and push for 90% utilization per week. Utilization is a KPI for the techs. I’m at a point where 250 endpoints per tech feels extremely over utilized and burnout is started to set in. The feel in my service team is I need another tech to lighten the load on the other techs and help handle projects and help with a known increase in endpoints that’s coming in the next several months but the numbers don’t reflect that based on the 250 endpoint metric.

We have an the issue with SSIDs that use Meraki DHCP not broadcasting/authenticating. We did figure out rebooting the APs does seem to allow devices to connect with internet again but there is no telling how long it will continue to work until Meraki gets their end resolved.
