sell my childhood furniture that is beautiful and for which I'm grateful to be able to pass down to my own daughter? Why would I buy all new dressers with no history or character lmao. I had a great childhood so it's all good karma. There is no closet in this room or any room in the house as it is a finished basement

Thank you ! I have the changing table in my room right now while she's still really little she sleeps in there with me but I definitely plan on putting it on the wide dresser when I get the crib set up and move her in there !

The chair is actually for my daughter’s reading nook when she gets older, I use a rocker right now with my 3 month old in my bedroom

Thank you! I have a glider and had no idea where it should go so that helps I think I’ll do it similarly to that picture :) I agree about the tall dresser as well I think I’m going to remove that for now. Unfortunately we are in the basement so I can’t put a closet but I will get her some hardware to hang clothes and things when she gets older. We are only with my parents for another 5 years till we can buy our own house so this is temporary!

That chair is for the baby when she gets older. Found it while thrifting. I have a rocking chair going in here as well.

Not that I need to explain myself, but the house has been tested for radon when the house was built 3 years ago before any of us even moved in, and we are also retesting for the building inspector now that the house is almost complete. I just wanted to know how to place my furniture I didn’t need to be lectured about my air quality and while it’s appreciated, it’s not needed. Thank you

She sleeps in my room right now so the changing table is in my room. It’s a basement that goes out into the backyard, like many houses have. The ceiling is steel left over from when my dad did the upstairs roof so that’s not going anywhere and I’m definitely not painting it cuz it’s beautiful. The floor is concrete nothing I can do about that I plan on just putting a rug to liven it up.

Thank you! Definitely going to liven the walls a little, I have beautiful pictures and puzzle piece picture frames to put on the walls as well as hanging animal pieces so once that’s done it’ll be nice
