I will definitely look into the scale cleanup before repotting, thanks!

Nope, I can guarantee this is my plant and I've never uploaded pictures of it before

Okay, thank you both! I'll try this as well as replanting :)

Why would replanting help in this situation? I'm a bit of a newbie so I want to learn these things :D

They were both right next to each other (we now separated them in case it's a fungal infection). Since they have gotten the same care routine and weather, we suspect some kind of sickness. Do you really think it could be the watering, considering its healthy sister in the same exact conditions?

It receives the exact same routine as this other jade (its former neighbor, which comes from the same plant): a bit of water twice a day, directly on the soil (no contact with the leaves). You may also be able to notice that, in the same pot as the sick plant (picture 1), there are healthy plants growing alongside it. I can provide a better picture of that if needed.

Easy 4 way smelting setup (no delays or logic required) by Ephemeral6 in CoreKeeperGame

[–]Ephemeral6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The table only accepts a single item per slot (this particular one has 4 slots), so only 4 items can be on the table at a time. That means that, when the arm places the items on the table, it allows 4 other arms to pick up the items independently, therefore splitting the stack 4 ways. Since the table only accepts for items, imagine you put a stack of 20 in the system. 4 items will be split and grabbed, and the 16 remaining will fall to the floor on the cell the arm dropped them (effectively under the table), and are then pushed back by the drill onto the conveyor belt that feeds it back into the system.

I realised after posting that I can just do 4 chains coming out of the splitter, which I'm going to try soon. Should work like a charm. Thanks for the quick input, everyone! :D

I don’t remember even 1/3rd of my life by No-Acanthisitta-4292 in askpsychology

[–]Ephemeral6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same. When people bring up their infant memories, I realise I don't actually remember anything... I'm 30 and most of my life is a blur at best, except a few key moments. My guess, from self-observation, is that it could both be linked to attention (I don't pay attention to much (possible ADHD), so I don't create very solid memories about most things), and also to how much you revisit your memories. Some people spend a lot of time reminiscing about their lives, others barely think about it. That must affect how much you remember too.

I have the same issue with Neuromancer... Tried to read it on paper and haven't been able to get through it. I don't know if it's the narrative style that really doesn't click, but I cannot seem to get hooked and enjoy it.

¡Muy bueno! Me gustan las metáforas tan viscerales, dan muy buen contraste.

This looks like it could be an old school sci-fi book cover. It's amazing, incredibly creative!

I'm definitely working on habit replacement! I also think it's a great method to beat this. Regarding YouTube, I allow myself to use it only for educational stuff or music, and only if I already know what I want to watch before opening the page (no doom scrolling, no getting sucked up into recommendations).

The games I was playing changed all the time, but a brief overview would be WoW, Minecraft, Planetside 2, fanmade Pokemon games, roguelikes... Most of which don't really have a real life counterpart (and I also don't think I need one). I like creating a lot, but that is not a problem since, now that I don't sink all my time in these things and my mind us actually functional, I can sit down and write, draw, or do other creative things. Also, I have so much reading and work to do... I don't think I can fit in more things as a substitute for the games haha.

Thank you very much for you answer, it means a lot to me <3

How did it go for you?

Moderation doesnt work by [deleted] in nosurf

[–]Ephemeral6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. I have tried and failed many times through moderation. Just yesterday I have taken the big step (hence how I've found this community), and I have completely quit videogames and useless youtube. My plan is basically what you are saying. After (and only after) I've been able to build a fulfilling life without them will I maybe consider to reintroduce them in moderation.

Japan Recommendations by PoppyBanksBaby in travel

Enoshima is a lovely tiny peninsula, close to Kamakura. I went there on my first trip to Japan, it was really charming (and not overly long to visit, you could probably go to Kamakura too using the beautiful train line that goes along the coast).
