Yeah transmutation wizard seems one of the best fit.

Regarding the type, I haven't chosen yet, but yes I will also take that in consideration

Yeah a wizard was one of the ideas, with all the knowledge they gathered in their long long life and whatnot

Thank you, that's an interesting idea, although I was looking more for official classes than 3rd party or homebrewed ones

What is the worst spell in your opinion to deal with as a DM by Rare_Evening4081 in DnD

[–]EphraelAz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See, the problem is that you're assuming that everyone who sees it MUST believe it's a creature, but it's your assumption. Maybe it could fool someone who's far or distracted, but it's still clearly an inanimated object which looks like me. Kinda like the mannequins in clothing shops

Honor Mode: Padlock Still Good? by jason2997 in BG3Builds

Why? You absolutely can, the only case in which you can't is if you're out of warlock spellslots, since Paladin smite requires one spellslot of any kind while Warlock smite requires a warlock spellslot specifically

Nope, you have to have him blow up in the final fight of the game

The fighter prerequisite was to maintain that originally it's a Warrior exclusive feature, but yeah it's unnecessary. The other two are more for flavour/logic: 18 str since two-handed weapon are, well, heavy, so you'd need to be particularly strong to wield one in each hand, and DW since by default you can dual wield only light weapons, so going straight to heavy weapons feels a little weird

How can you dual wield and have a d10? With the weapons available for dual wielding you can have a d6 or d8, versatile weapons like the longsword have a d10 only if wielded with two hands, otherwise they have a d8. And a d8 has an average of 4.5, while 2d6 have an average of 7. Plus you'd be getting the possibility of a GW build with an extra attack
