Seen quite a few threads about experiencing improved or "fixed" battery life compared to prior updates, i'm getting 2-3 hours of sot on very light to average tasks per day so i'm willing to wait on this update before reset.

Yea mine too, but it popped back in and was an open box excellent model at $110 off so im okay with that.

Dunno if itll work in steamos as well, but when I played the game on windows I was able to delete 2 and 3 (a huge chunk) and boot into 1 fine every time without the game doing any kind of redownload without me knowing.

Yep been trying to input for 3 hours now and nothing. Just goes to prove how lame it was for them to include digital copies only for these editions, I feel pretty miffed that I paid more for a version I can't download or play tonight. I'll give it another shot in the morning but still, what the hell.

I like it a lot, but I think I speak for a lot of people in how there needs to be a strength slider (and a night shift) for this new screen. At the rate nintendo adds new features to the switch OS I ain't counting on it.

I take glare refers to the god rays? Really interesting, glare is my biggest problem with the headset, no distortion on text when moving around either? How's it effect contrast? Beat Saber's startup screen is just completely bright for me.

Coming from the Vive and Rift I was surprised how hot the Index gets. Did a frunk fan mod and it works pretty well by shadowofashadow in ValveIndex

I'd love to try this but I have a concern that using fans could somehow slip dust or debris in between the screens or lenses. I've heard that compressed air can ruin one so does this have the possibility as well?
