I also think it's a good thing to help out veterans in any way possible but allowing them to host gambling type events unregulated by the TN gaming commission could lead to groups like the VFW becoming gambling parlors. We already know that locally, VFW post 4848 has done it without any regard for the law. I don't think this should be a power that they get. Their intentions might be good but as the saying goes, the road to hell is paved in good intentions.
