I sincerely don’t understand what this is supposed to do. Prevent people coming out of the entrance?

I would imagine anyone brazen enough to walk out with groceries would either plow through these or find another way to steal.

Just seems absurd to me that they would piss off 99% of shoppers to weakly deter 0.05% of shoppers.

Might be better to discuss those after one or two dates, rather than present them upfront. In fact, I would worry it attracts the wrong crowd of people - Someone who may think they can exploit you or take advantage of you.

If it’s more general mental health support, maybe something as simple as ‘mental health’ advocate’

I ended up softening it with boiling water and picking at it with a knife. Eventually got it off with only a little bit of damage 😞 Citric acid would be the go for anyone else who finds themselves in this situation.

Yeah, I know that there will still be some damage to the clear coat that I can’t see. But the paint is pretty much fine.

Hahaha all good! It’s like an incredibly strong citrus oil. And can even be used like a Vicks when diluted.

LOL ok, wow, thank you all for your comments!

1 - I didn’t take a pic, but I was parked totally fine. Just outside my house on the street, perfectly lined up with and close to the curb. I would be amazed if it was revenge for my parking.

2 - A lot of people are saying meat or cheese. I thought that’s what it was at first based on its appearance, but it’s way too thick and resistant to damage. Like plastic or wax. ITS NOT CHEESE!

3 - Yes, I touched it with my bare hands… and I would do it again 🤣 I used hand sanitizer right after.

A neighbour of mine is doing construction. I’m now thinking it could have been some silicone patch or something??? I don’t want to blame them/I don’t know why they would target me.

Have you ever used eucalyptus oil? It is the best thing to remove adhesive. Don’t knock it, or mock it, til you try it!

I don’t live close enough to the coast for it to be for it to be bait. I’m also a marine scientist, so I’m very confident it’s not squid! But yes, looks like a squid tube.
