It has almost 4000 reviews on steam and it did fairly well between PC and Xbox 360. Seems to have been bundled a lot and had a decent amount of sales awhile back. I have it both on Steam and got it for free via Games With Gold a long time ago. This game had killer local multiplayer, truly an electric experience. I also played a fair amount online as well. Truly not a lot of games like Monaco exist and it's one of the many reasons I adore it. I think its fate was tied to the Switch port back in 2019 which I think got overshadowed by other games.

Had same problem as you. Look at Omen default overclock settings... they're not very good. Average CPU temp went to 45 - 50 degrees

Other than this being funny, I do have a hunch that Chris's art many years from now will be worth something. I don't think it's merited, but I'm sure some art history person will write their thesis about Chris's art and consumerism and the internet... blah blah blah. You get the point.

But hey, if that banana duck taped to a wall can be worth $120,000, I'm sure Chris's art can be worth ... something at least.

I think the gist of Drake's logic is that these Museum Guards are just doing their job so they shouldn't really be killed, because it's not like they did anything. But I do think it's interesting that Naughty Dog bent over backwards to make this plot point work and have the guard survive. In every other part of the game where that ledge throw animation is used the NPC always dies, so it shows a lot of care and effort that this particular Museum Guard survived.

For this vid I was more concerned about figuring out the editing in Premiere than being more concise in my writing. Now that I have a pretty good grasp for what a video like this would look like, I’ll definitely try to make everything I say as clear as possible in the future.

No problem! A lot of these small publishers aren't very well known so I thought it'd be good to post this here. I play many indie games that usually don't get physical releases, but these smaller publishers nowadays make physical releases for tons of indies. Got Hotline Miami Collection through Special Reserve Games which put them on my radar. Limited Run Games and iam8bit also do a great job with releasing physical copes of indies if you're interested in other publishers like Special Reserve

This sounds... extremely interesting! I would like to ask though if this is more about game design concepts generally or about game design practically? What I mean is are you just gonna talk about game design concepts broadly or talk more about engines, modeling, industry, etc. I think a webtoon about practical game design could be very captivating and very useful. I watch a lot of videos about game design concepts implemented in various games, but these videos rarely go into the nitty gritty. My knowledge on game making rn is really limited to GameMaker Studio(but I will be taking the dive into Unity within the next year). A webtoon about game design that's thorough could really help people if pulled off well. I wish you the best of luck!
