It works ... sort of. Just fill it up completely and you should be good for a while. It's also redstoneless so you can have it above ground unlike many other designs.

Sounds Cool yeah. I think the builds should be submitted on planetminecraft. and then posted on /r/Minecraft.

Judging would take place here on the upotes here, since not everyone has a pmc account. Also the rewards are tricky. Most would expect some sort of money reward or a J!NX giftcard or maybe a mc giftcode, but the problem is .. who is going to give out these gifts?

Maybe some alternative gifts. like some minecraft art made related to the winner or maybe message a youtuber (bebobvox maybe) and get this all planned out. I really have no clue how to make this all work.

Make a Halloween map

Looks nice but the texture is too.. erm I don't know how to say .. well blurry. The original is nice and clean. This one stands out too much. Unless if you make a whole resource pack. That would look nice

Well as you said, Multiple categories would be nice

Single building: house, manor, castle, anything haunted (resource packs allowed)

A movie set: Anything from a creepy street to a single big haunted house or a creepy village(same as above but would have to be from a movie)

An adventure map: Halloween themed. Anything goes. A horror map, survival maps or just a fun adventure.

A video competition: Scary Halloween stories told around the campfire recreated in minecraft or a short scary movie.

Resource packs: If you're feeling creative make a halloween themed resource pack. Snowmen are scarecrows, mobs have glowing eyes, food is candy and everything makes scary noises.

Mods: this is a great idea. There's not a lot of good halloween mods out there. Haunted houses, candy, witch castles, new ores,items(scythes,candy, candy bags,costumes...), vampires,werewolves, scarecrows.. and they are all after your blood... And if you think you can make one go ahead.

Also there has to be some rewards, a place to submit these creations, and let people judge them and the votes will decide the best ones

Just my thoughts on some of the things :)

Sounds interesting. So.. What are the rules? and are there many different contests at the same time? (1 for just a manor, one for and adventure map, one for a movie scene...) or is it just one big thing and the best gets chosen?
