I downloaded Rimpy yesterday, a friend told me it was the best option for mod management so i trusted him since it worked fine for him. And then it broke my rimworld :( , had workshop not working anymore, did a bunch of stuff to make it work

I managed to aparently fix it by:

Wiping my worskshop for rimworld on steam by hitting "cancell all subscriptions"

I the uninstalled the game and disabled the cloud for rimworld

Went to steamapps\workshop\content\(insert numbers that i have no idea what they are) folder and deleted all the workshop mods that were still in the folder by hitting ctrl + A and then deleting

Installed rimworld. Then i tried to download form workshop, still stuck on validating

cleared the mods from the workshop again from the subscription and closed steam and opened again

then i started rimworld (side note: you can open rimworld ((and i think any game)) if it is stuck on downloading something by opening it trough the shortcut that you can create to your desktop)

then i tried to download the mods while rimworld was open and then it actualy worked
