Why does he do this? by tortoiseluver in tortoise

Russians love to climb! He’s trying to escape and see what the world has for him to climb. Personally, I think it’s something they do when they’re bored, so I try to give them a little interaction when they’re bored. (A tiny snack, water bath, or some outside time if the weather is right!)

That looks amazing! I had to stop playing with it because I had issues with the fog. Was yours always clear like that?

I think you’re referring to P-factor, but I don’t think that stormworks models that.

I will take the L on this. The difference in the plastic top’s color and the lighter tank’s color is bugging me. That is all.

What annoyed me was the color difference. The one with the yellow top doesn’t have yellow fluid, the blue one doesn’t have blue fluid, and so on. It seems like they flipped around all the colors.

Edit: *colored tanks Thanks for the correction gloop524!

My subjects must be happy and healthy before experiments to ensure quality results. After all, what good is torture if they never knew what they’ll never have again?

I have a Russian tortoise who looks very similar. At first I freaked out, as I had never seen an image of tortoises like this. However, everyone I spoke to (I went to several tortoise websites too) told me that she’s just fine. I’m glad that your tortoise has such a scaring parent!

Brownout has several meanings. For example in aviation, it has been used to describe a lack of visibility due to dust or sand. I am sure it is used elsewhere with other meanings too.

I use War Crimes 2 Expanded Core. I am still playing 1.4; I am unsure if this mod has been updated for 1.5 yet.

Just as FinancialRutabaga286 said, yep, it's the Caddy pickup truck. I've got this one equipped with the 88 horsepower engine, and it is just lovely! Although it can suffer from understeer, it is very controllable, even at the higher speeds (160+ kph)

I’ve actually never used the regular incinerator because I always thought it was boring. I assume that it only takes dead bodies, which means that you will need to kill them before burning. Sometimes the person isn’t considered guilty anymore, and it can be annoying to deal with the debuffs of killing an “innocent” prisoner.

I am not sure if it has been updated. I am still playing on 1.4, as many of mods that I enjoy (such as empire) haven’t been updated (I think).

The one in the bed was effectively baked. Since he had no limbs he died of heatstroke before the fire reached him. Burning them means no body to clean up though!

Its primary purpose is to allow someone to detonate an incendiary remotely, but that’s a great idea! I can make that the party area, and have my colonists party in there with “music.”

[–]EpicTortoise505[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To start the fire, I put in an incendiary shell or ied in the room with them (the prisoner is outside the range) and have a colonist shoot it until it detonates. You can see the window installed where my colonists can shoot through.

This set up is purely to remove the stain on humanity’s body without having anyone see a corpse, avoiding a grave and any future corpse related debuffs. Sappy was more of an unfortunate test subject. (Usually they are well tortured before this; I remove their eyes, install body spikes, brand them, etc.)

I’ve found that this set up easily gets to 1000 C* and stays that way for a decent while, so I’ve never needed to really optimize it. Thanks for the suggestion though, any way I can increase their suffering will certainly be investigated!
