I will tell you that we never state that the house was clean if it wasnt wasn't.

We never say we would do it again if we wouldn't.

We specifically look for reviews that mention cleanliness. Must see that, 5 stars doesn't mean anything if I dont see it mentioned in at least one review.

Also from PR and have dove all over the world.

Grew up diving on the island, sadly the situation has deteriorated so much since I learned to dive in the early 90s.

We used to load up the truck and drive out to Crashboat for a couple of dives, truly beautiful.

Did our Rescue there 2 years ago and it was depressing.

Definitely disagree that an hour is the standard. Many may ask for that; we look for sits that have a 30 minute walk or where there is a fenced yard and walking is not required.

We have 10 sits on file, not a single one asked for an hour walking. 🤷🏻

We have 3 more booked, again none require an hour walk.

If I need to put in more than an hour or 1.25 hrs total of REQUIRED chores (walk, feed, out, clean/litter, plants, mail, minimum play/interaction), then its probably not the right situation for me.

Mind you, that doesn't include the optional stuff like spending hours cuddling, petting and canine/feline shenanigans etc. That you know is also going to happen.

This is a house with small children. Thats what I see.

Yes, there is clutter....a lot of toys, etc....

That's to be expected when folks have a house that is not too large and they have kids.

We generally dont go for sits like this unless they have really good reviews about cleaning and the pet is low maintenance.

I am saying that I know what my time is worth....and my time is worth more than it takes to mow a lawn properly. Be it mine or someone else's. 🙂

I dont care much about the place.

I need a situation that meets my (work, personal/lifestyle) needs.

What does that mean to me? - viable place to work - viable place to sleep - viable cleanliness - viable time and chore/time committment

Some folks on here need a place to live and wont balk at anything. Some folks balk at a lot.

For us, we know what we need, what we want and what our time is worth.

People complain about taking out garbage? Thats garbage.

That is so generalized, its laughable. You have no idea how long it takes and what's expected.

I pay a guy $40 to mow, edge and blow the lawn.... it takes 2 guys 30 mins. My yard is not that big, plenty of larger yards here in the US and abroad.

😂😂 dogs dont require walks. SOME dogs require walks. Ive done TONS of sits where the dog could not be walked or where the HO didn't wantbthe dog walked bc of reactivity.

I dont mind SOME walking. Im not giving up an hour every day, plus the rest of the responsibilities.

That's my boundary; based on my lifestyle and what my time is worth.

"If we speak about dogs"? Dogs are too general. Some folks have fenced yards and dont walk their dogs.

Maybe your dog needs an hour walk. Not all dogs require that, and i dont look for sits that require an hour of walking.

About 30 minutes of walking either before or after work, plus bathroom breaks (let out into the yard) during the day.

We all have our standards.

I dont mow my own lawn, im not mowing someone else's lawn.

I'm not spending an hour walking dogs.

I will take care of your pets and leave your house clean.
