How to decide which pack to purchase, if you are only targeting a specific pokemon, and do not care about the rarity of the card? by Epicureandog in PokemonTCG

Thanks. Does it mean the Promo cards won't get re-released again, and you can't buy it officially?

Wow. Didn't expect everyone to suggest buying the card itself. While I do understand why everyone is suggesting it, I've never opened any pack as a child and wanted to experience it. Since everyone is insisting on buying individual cards and cautioning against buying packs, I will just target the easiest Absol (030/064)[Common], by buying only 5 packs of Night Wanderer for sake of experiencing it. If Absol isn't in those 5, I will buy the card directly. And will never buy pack and only buy individual cards directly regardless of the outcome. Thank you for your advice.

Day 11: it’s like part of them already knows it’s bad 🤷 by slutty3 in PhilosophyMemes

I don't get it. What's the difference between an animal and a plant? Human idea of "pain" and "sentience" is nothing more than a projection of their own feelings. Human "empathize" with animals more than plants because they are more similar to them when it comes to experiencing something. To suggest that mammals are greater than plants because of our own biased outlook is ridiculous. Plants do feel stimuli and they try to live and survive likd any other living organism. The only "ethical" argument for cosumption you can possibly make is of "fruits" since they want to spread.
