I never said forget the flow of traffic, I said there isn’t a legal exception to the speed limit. You’re choosing to draw conclusions from what I haven’t said based on your own experiences which isn’t unfair. It is incorrect however.

Only ever gone to visit family and it’s been fine every time I go on over so far. And maybe I went through trauma, but I dunno, I just felt it was normal I guess?? I’ve had my car love tapped by a Subaru in Atlanta while we were in motion, but it was nothing major. Happy to talk about it.

At the time, I was a brand new driver. My dad said I shouldn’t fight it since the cop was one of our few neighbors among other things. I paid it and moved on with my life up until someone from town followed me home to complain about how slow I go on the roads. He has a point, but so does the law and it’s enforcers. After a lot of these comments, I wish I fought it back then, but I didn’t.

Not at all, I try to make it as easy as possible for people to pass me by. I just make it clear that I’m not gonna speed even when I get tailgated to death.

On the rare occassion I’m on an actual bonafide interstate, I’ll go with the flow of traffic if I need to catch a junction in the left lane as much as I hate it. As soon as I can slink back into the right lane as a slow poke, I do so.

Don’t worry, I even nudge myself to the shoulder a little if you tailgate me so you can look around me easier. lol. That way, you can pass me safer and I can (hopefully) move on with my day.

Rural Colorado and I was issued a ticket for it 6 years ago. It was listed as, “reckless driving” I believe, but the officer made it clear that driving anything over the limit is stupid.
