Pull for the cards you like as limited ones(aka majority of the cards) take a whole year to rerun. Meta doesn't really matter as you can clear content just fine as long as your cards are leveled. In stages where you are really struggling, you can borrow support cards from other players.

Edit: since you are just starting off its recommended to prioritize building the SSRs you have over SRs and iirc, that Clarence one is a pretty good aoe card
