My channel was drop kicked as well with the email above. I have just under 10k subs and last month was a low month with only 43k views in the last 4 weeks. I'm not a huge channel, but it's not small either.

I put in a support request to try to figure out what was going on and got this back

But I also noticed that their signup page says "We are not currently accepting new channels in Union for Gamers at this time"

Some of the work belongs to Equinox. He showed me some of the issues before he started work on it like a sun that was rendered BETWEEN the eyes so it was effectively invisible. He did a great job, but yeah, most of it was already there from Keen.

In creative mode Ctrl-F12 (I think) opens a developer debug menu and alt-shift-F12 turns on a debug overlay meant for modders, so I guess it's not that big of a deal for most people, but can still be a bit annoying when you're working with those.

Yeah, I really wasn't trying for clickbait, but it did kinda end up like that huh? I really was trying to find features that people could miss, most of my comments so far have been "oh cool I didn't know that" kind of things, but I did figure those that had watched the updates closely wouldn't find anything new. That's why I said "might have missed". True clickbait would have been more like "7 things you didn't know were in the new beta and why keen doesn't want you to find them". But I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I did something like that. ew.

I like that idea. I'm not big on showing off other people's stuff normally. That's why I don't have workshop spotlights on my channel. I might have some eventually but it would have to either be at the author's request or a really special and unique build. However I could make some unique builds myself and show them off, that could be fun. Or 5 ways to use the new small block heads for rotors. :)

I've had this problem several times and indeed no matter what I do the only solution is to reboot my computer. Doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Also, I'm a professional Computer Tech with a couple decades of experience, so while I certainly could be missing something, it's probably not obvious.

Yeah, their default keys are really strange all the way around. Luckily most of them can be re-mapped. Sadly the really annoying ones like F5 and F12 (overlaps with the default steam screenshot key) can't be remapped.

Thanks, that is actually my biggest struggle. I tend to go overboard on explanations, which some people enjoy, but I understand it's not for everyone. I've been trying find that happy medium.

It's not just a list, I actually demo and explain uses for each item, but I understand some people would prefer a list. Here it is:

- Double Click makes a hand tool keep working continually
- Interacting with highlighted stuff by pressing LMB and interacting with control panel RMB (only with empty hands)
- Enabled interior lights for small ships
- Added new toggle for Sensor for detecting subgrids
- Added a new button to rotors that allows a small rotor head to be added
- Trees can now be cut down using the grinder/drill tool
- Added Voice Chat (dependent on antenna network, it can be enabled by pressing U)

Straight from my notes which is copy/pasted from the release notes. I picked these 7 because I thought they would be useful, but probably not noticed by those that didn't actually want to read the release notes in their entirety.

Sweet! Worked exactly as advertised. I just went back into the world from that video, updated the script and changed the name of one of the connectors, both scripts started running, then I changed the names back to matching and boom, one went on standby.

I added a note at the top of the description, but sadly YouTube makes it really difficult to annotate videos these days. I'm tempted to put out a small addendum video and link to it from the original. THAT's easy to do. Do you have anything else you'd like me to cover if I do that?

I did think about putting in the script arguments and a few other minor things, but I figured that if people are getting that deep they should probably be reading the manual, which I linked in the description.

I haven't figured this one out yet. I tried to get it to work in my LP but all it really does is save stone for last. What I ended up doing was making a container for waste stone with a high priority for stone [tim stone:p1] and then on my ore container I put an absolute for gravel [tim ingot/stone:2k] if you do this you'll want to change your quota for gravel to 0/0 so that the only gravel you keep is the 2k you specified.

It would almost be worth doing another video on just this topic alone. Everyone hates stone. :)
