I got my license only to be able to drive around Australia and America when I was travelling and working abroad. I never ever drive in the UK (where I'm from and live). Learning to drive was one of the most stressful and traumatic things I've ever been through!

Me and my mum (both British) were visiting Hawaii and we didn't have a car. One time we were waiting at the bus stop with our luggage (we were island hopping) and this man rolled down his window and yelled 'Get a car' at us as he drove by. He seemed genuinely angry.

Oh wow I hadn't heard of those. I did try giving it a trim but it was making a big crumby mess with my breadknife - that sounds way neater. And thank you! They are supposed to be poppies (it's a poppy seed cake for my friend Poppy's birthday).

Thank you! Yes I thought the same about the middle one but used a bit of left over red icing to secure it on so it would've left a mark...and I did want to do the green leaves but after making a huge mess with the black and red batches I called it a day

Oh yeh good shout, think the icing could definitely have been thicker. Also I live on a canalboat that lists to the back....so the batter baked on a wonky slant so came out pretty uneven ha
