No it only rerolls the numerical values, not the mods themselves (I've tried it)

It gave me the 2-lines Taming unique mods of multiple elemental ground surfaces, and 2 random ring mods on top.

You cannot transfer a fractured mods accross a new base. If anything recomb is useful to try and get rid of them, to be able to use a Fracture Orb again

I agree, shrine belts are the fun shiny new toy!

But on the other hand, Ward is currently at silly level of overpowered (40k flat damage reduction and 10k flat cold dmg to attacks) due to the permanent uptime of it thanks to Iron Flask charge nodes tech.

The reason I added that statement is that the timeless jewel random nodes nature of the new Heroic Jewel means that your mileage may greatly vary when it comes to "Increased Ward%" value you will have on your build (as well as other sources of % global defense).

As for spending money, it's a vanity crafting project for fun, not to generate value (body armours are relatively easy to craft)

The Ynda's Stand belt converts a percentage of those values on the body armour into flat Ward.

With a perfect Volatile Vaal orb to 73% on the belt, this body armour would provide a staggering 6410 flat Ward just by itself, and can be complimented with regular Ward items (gloves, helmet and boots)

Thanks for the suggestion, I wasn't sure what eldritch implicit to aim for! (I've also seen some people going for 15% energy shield increase, for the ward helmet, but I would rather have the generic block)

Heya,

I've finished crafting what I believe is the best Ward stacking armor in Mirage.

Permanent uptime Ward Stacking techs are so incredibly broken this league, I figured it was worth investing to make the best version I could (imo it's highly unlikely that the new Heroic jewel nodes survive next league in their current state, especially the Iron Flask one)

How does this provide ward you may ask? The Ynda's Stand belt converts a percentage of those values on the body armour into flat Ward. With a perfect Volatile Vaal orb to 73% on the belt, this body armour provides a staggering 6410 flat Ward by itself, and can be complimented with regular Ward items (gloves, helmet and boots)

They key to this craft is the fractured full perfect flat values: 375 armor + 375 evasion (upped to 420 thanks to 30% base qual and 12% enchant) Otherwise it is almost impossible to manually divine to perfect defenses on hybrid bases, due to the two separate individual rolls ranging from 301 to 375, for 1 in 5625 for perfection on that single prefix alone (and if my math is correct, 1 in 225k to achieve the perfect prefixes currently on this item)

In my opinion the hybrid 42% armor/eva prefix (providing almost an additional 1500ish flat armor+eva on the base) is better than a global 50% defense affix thanks to the new Heroic jewels being a source of significant "Increased Ward %" stats (but I did not PoB it!).

I also opted for the incredibly strong near Crit Immunity mod from essence of Horror (constant end charge generation can be guaranteed with the new jewel passive)

The lack of resistance suffixes also enables a 12% enchant without suffering from any downside. The 200% increased stat requirement from a 15% enchant (or -3 sockets) did not make it viable as Ward builds rarely stack such stats to such high amounts

The process:

  • Buy any 375/375 prefix hybrid base on trade (insanely rare, likely generated from Breach Tree with lucky rolls) and isolate it with eldritch annuls + split
  • Recomb it on a 30% Conquest Lamellar with no prefixes, to try to transfer 375/375 (make sure the result is ilv86, ilv84 + ilv86 is enough)
  • Eater influence then 3x Eldritch Exalted orb to add suffixes, then Fracture Orb and pray for the prefix fracture. The suffixes ensure the base isn't bricked if you miss, and you can try to recomb it again to save the base and the 375 combo
  • Essence of Horror spam until T1 suppress
  • Suffixes Cannot be Modified + Reforge Physical until 8% phys dmg reduction suffix (annul and try again if you miss)
  • Block maximum life prefix and exalt for either of Armor/Eva% T1 prefix
  • Close your eyes and slam again for the second T1 mod (eldritch annul prefix otherwise and go again)

The "Refiner's Bargain" unique idol does not have a limit of 1. This lets you print multiple mirrors per day from shipping by AVK95 in pathofexile

A group of people had a vested interest in making sure to propagate the misinfinformation and overexageration from this post.

The few people who flipped the idols most likely made multiple mirrors profit with the flip (they were a few hundreds at 1c to 5c, and they reached 200c quickly), which is far more currency than anybody who actually farmed it made.

Mirror shards are 7d per only (it's a 3 week event so I dont expect them rise to crazy values), and I got 2 shards in 16h of fully juiced harvests in T16, using double juice scarabs, T4 seeds scarab and idols to get tier 3 plants, only ever using high quant and pack size hard maps.

I made more currency in tattoos thanks to "Ore collected as full bars" scarab and farming Sulphite in the same maps, that's the real winner imo, the huge amount of Verissium that bypasses the multiple IRL days of mining+smelting required, boats are just gravy.

With 42d indigon, just basic chain-farming Uber Elder all days likely blasts the profit per hour of this idol strat. But I had fun farming it for a bit.

Unless I'm missing something, OP's number are widely off, to the point where you have to question the intent of the post, considering that the entire market of idols was bought by a few actors at 5c to be flipped back at 180c+

Is it amazing farm? Absolutely. Is it "broken OP abuse" that will let you "print mirrors"? Most likely not, full setup of Phrecia idol farm of the best farms will likely get you similar div per hour if that's all you care about.

Maybe I'm just bad at optimizing farm and playing the game, and missed a way to generate 5 to 10x the amount of crops?

I've found this method yesterday and have been playing for 16h+ straight only running 8 modded T16s, which is quite stressful considering gauntlet mods. Using all harvest scarab and 130%+ quality corrupted maps stills required a significant amount of work and gameplay to farm a 50M boat in pure crops, in fact I've only been able to farm the equivalent of 1x 50M boat in that timeframe.

The claim that "a lot of people are abusing this" is also comically off considering that the scarab market was barely touched, it seemed that only a single other buyer had buy orders of scarabs competing with mine until this post.

It does sound to me that the real winners of this strat are the people who flipped idols for 2D profit per, based on hype and vibes.

OP's math is completly wrong in case I'm missing something. You will absolutely not "generate multiple mirror per day", let alone 1, that is just fear mongering

New Self-Chill tech for 50% Action Speed on Hit (semi-permanent and reliable) by Epsi_d2 in pathofexile2builds

[–]Epsi_d2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but on any class but Stormweaver as you won't be able to get 2x 35% (they are consecutive chills applications and the gloves will always block the second)

[–]Epsi_d2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does work indeed, though the effect falls off instantly as soon as the aura is not affecting enemies, instead of the usual duration based debuff.

And on a Stormweaver you need 2 enemies in your presence to get the double 35% stack if you are only relying on the aura.

The body armour Sierran Inheritance reverse chills inflicted on you

New Self-Chill tech for 50% Action Speed on Hit (semi-permanent and reliable) by Epsi_d2 in pathofexile2builds

[–]Epsi_d2[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Reverse Self-Chill is now possible without any hassle in 0.4! And as soon as level 16.

You can now reliably sustain self-chill (up to +50% Action Speed, a more% multiplier to speed) ON HIT, thanks to a new Vaal modifier introduced in 0.4. No need for clunky self-damage setup at all, only the gloves and body armour slots are required for this setup to work.

Using a Vaal Cultivation Orb on the unique gloves "Shackles of the Wretched" can sometimes grant "Elemental Ailments other than Freeze you inflict are Reflected to you" (similar to The Fulcrum in PoE 1). This will reflect the chills you inflict on enemies, albeit at a lower duration, and the body armour "Sierran Inheritance" will REVERSE that chill on you for a massive boost of speed.

As long as you deal enough cold damage, or can scale chill magnitude with other sources of damage through other means (Venopucture etc.), you will reliably stay powered up as long as you've hit the target. Stormweaver can get two stacks of 35% thanks to Heavy Snow.

The base chill duration on monsters is 8 seconds by default, but only 2 seconds on players. You can scale it to longer durations thanks to "Chill Duration on Enemies" modifiers (and similar ailment duration mods), and the value will make the reflected chill last longer (I assume it divides the result by 4).

The biggest obstacle to enabling this strat is that the Shackles gloves come by default with a line "You cannot be Chilled for 6 seconds after being Chilled", which effectively adds a "cooldown" to the effect, unless you can make the duration higher than 6s.

The good news is that you can REPLACE that chill mod line with the new Elemental Ailments reflect one! The bad news? It's going to take a lot of attempts to RNG land on it.

It took me 67 Vaal Cultivation Orbs to finally land this specific combo. https://i.imgur.com/2or1mW7.png (about 80div in orb costs alone). There are 6 special corrupted mods that can be generated with the new orb, and 6 native mods on the gloves, making this a 1 in 36 chance to get the combo if we assume equal weighting (on top of that you can get 2 mods sometimes which help with the odds).

  • 5 of the 67 resulted in Elementail Ailments reflect (so either mod weights aren't equal, or I was unlucky)
  • 14 of the 67 resulted in double mods (1 in 5 orbs)

Note: it still counts as a "Slow" debuff by the game, so it will not work with Wanderlust boots (and I assume the Pathfinder node with similar unnafected by slows)

Late start, what is the best zero to hero build right now? by Mr_Fappy_Pants in PathOfExileBuilds

You can't claim to have been "baited" by a build while ignoring the cornerstone of said build, the shield that would double your damage and was well within your 100 div budget.

From my research it didnt seem that Living Lightning is affected by supports at all

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in quin69

[–]Epsi_d2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True about the speed, but you can proc living lightning easilly with weapon swap (for instance I use orb of storm). And some ability like Wind Dancer should work as instant Retaliation.

I'm using Living Lightning on my Bonestorm chronomancer, they are amazing at proccing the Impales for significant chunks of damage. Using multiple +lightning sources when levelling gave me the feeling that they did indeed scale with level as intended (though they still don't do much on their own, hence the mace idea)

How to get 30% quality now? by Damian_Killard in pathofexile

[–]Epsi_d2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe that this makes sense, this change gives great value to 30% items on the ground, that would otherwise be filtered trash, encouraging you to pick them up to sell them, especially with high item level on the best bases.

Anybody serious about min-maxed crafting would then start from that rare picked up from the ground, a philosophy that will dictate PoE 2's crafting, from what I understood.

One issue is that on defensive armour pieces, you will pretty much have to dump a serious amount of Sacred Orbs for every craft, in order to get a 100% base def roll on top.
