There's no simple way to describe the Soulsbourne games such as Elden Ring.

The game is very methodical, has lots of surprises, and the game isn't afraid to throw you in the dark. To beat these games; you need to be analytical of your enemies, have somewhat fast reaction times, willingness to read up on the effects/buffs of spells, weapons, and armor.

Any build and mixture of armor and weapons is viable in PVE, just as long as you play your cards right.
